Through the generosity of Christian Scientists in the field, a great many subscriptions to Der Herold der Christian Science and Le Heraut de Christian Science are being sent regularly to those in foreign countries who otherwise would be unable to obtain them. Nearly all of these donations are given specifically for subscriptions to the French and German Heralds by those who do not read French and German and yet wish to be subscribers to all of the periodicals. As a consequence, there is on hand a sum adequate to meet the need for these two periodicals; yet we are constantly receiving legitimate requests for subscriptions to the other periodicals for which there is no special provision.
Under the circumstances it would, therefore, be helpful if those subscribing to the Heralds, in the manner stated above, would allow the Publishing Society latitude in disposing of these funds as other needs arise.
