It is a privilege to add my tribute of gratitude for the healing truth as taught in Christian Science. Through its application I was healed of an abdominal tumor from which I had suffered for several years, having become so abnormal in size that it was very difficult for me to sit down or to turn over in bed. Our physician informed me that only an operation offered any hope of relief, and that owing to my age,—seventy two years,—its success was doubtful. After hearing this verdict I decided to try Christian Science, and began to read its textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The error seemed to yield slowly, but after having much help and with a constant desire to know the truth about God and my relation to Him, I was entirely and permanently healed. During the intervening years I have found God to be an ever present help, and to-day rejoice in a degree of health and activity unusual at my present age of eighty-nine years.
To those whose healing seems long delayed I wish to send this message of cheer: Be not afraid. The battle is the Lord's, and through faithfulness to the truth of being you will win. I am indeed truly thankful for this truth, which does make man free. — Michigan City, Indiana.
