We turned to Christian Science for the healing of my wife, who was in a critical nervous and physical condition. The doctors had given up all hope of her recovery, and had suggested that she be removed to a sanitarium. My financial status was also far from being satisfactory at that time. Does any one doubt that we were ready to respond when Christian Science was offered to us? From the beginning my wife showed steady improvement, and in a short time she was relieved of this most distressing condition through the loving help of a consecrated Christian Science practitioner. While reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to my wife in order to help her, I was healed of the tobacco habit. I had indulged in the use of tobacco for seventeen years. For this healing I am extremely grateful, as it gave me great joy and confidence, and a desire to press on. Soon our financial condition began to improve, and gradually our problems along this line were satisfactorily solved. I have had several physical healings, for which I am deeply grateful, among others the healing of influenza and of carbuncles.
Christian Science has brought great happiness to our home, and is continuously serving us and solving all our problems. To say that I am grateful does not express half my appreciation for this beautiful revelation given to this age by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
