I desire to add to the "well-authenticated records of the cure, by herself and her students through mental surgery alone, of broken bones, dislocated joints, and spinal vertebrae," referred to by Mrs. Eddy on page 402 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
My first healing was of slipping of the vertebra between my shoulders. This healing was brought about slowly, but my consciousness was purified from many false beliefs through the work done. A dislocation of my right arm at the shoulder was instantaneously healed, and this healing gave me great encouragement. These healings were the result of loving help from consecrated Christian Science practitioners, and have remained permanent. The third healing was that of a dislocation, inward, upon the groin, of the great bone of my right thigh. This was so graciously healed as to be a proof to me that we are "under orders" to seek and find our right place and activity in this great movement to the glory of God and : salvation of humanity.
I am grateful for an increasing love for God ; for an intelligent grasp of the work of Christ Jesus; for our Leader's work in opening up so many channels in human consciousness, whereby God is glorified, and humanity lays hold on the mighty salvation wrought by the fulfillment of God's purposes through Christ Jesus. — Dayton, Ohio.
