We ask for this: to know that good is power,
That good is present every day and hour.
For this is truth ; and those who love the true
Have proven well what Truth and Love can do.
Since good, all-powerful, ever dwelleth here,
There is no place for false belief and fear.
We may not cavil at creation's plan,
Nor doubt the "Light, which lighteth every man."
We ask for this: to follow where Truth leads,
Receiving "daily strength for daily needs."
We ask for this: to love each other more,
As Jesus loved mankind in days of yore.
