In our home we have been graciously blessed through Christian Science demonstration, and I cannot too emphatically state that the truth has met our every need in every hour. When everything else had failed, Christian Science became our only physician. Though my healing from physical ailments and financial distresses seemed slow, it came surely, bringing gratitude, love, and a clearer understanding of God.
During the past sixteen years we have had many trials. But by rising above or overcoming each one, I found myself growing stronger physically and mentally. Our eldest son, then a baby, was immediately healed of pneumonia and inflammation of the bowels. Christian Science is the greatest teaching ever known and brings light, happiness, and healing into one's life.
About seven years ago our youngest son was taken suddenly ill. A severe hemorrhage appeared. I quickly and persistently applied the truth, knowing that God is the only power, including all action, which is ever harmonious and good; that Life is not in matter, but Life is everlasting. I was able to use my understanding of Christian Science so as to overcome the error, thus proving the power of God, good, as an ever present help. The inspiring words which flooded my thoughts and are in accordance with the ninety-first psalm so lifted my consciousness away from the mortal body to Truth and Love that the healing was quickly made manifest. In about half an hour our son was again outdoors with his little friends, vigorous, healthy, harmonious, and happy as a lark.
