"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," says our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (Pref., p. vii), and I have found this to be true during the nine years that I have studied Christian Science. We have received many blessings, have had many beautiful healings, and our every need has been met when the truth has been rightly applied. Many children's diseases, such as scarlet fever, measles, mumps, whooping cough, as well as colds and burns, have been healed, some very quickly and with the loving help of a practitioner, others more slowly and with our own work; but with each healing a higher understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him has been gained.
I also find this truth a wonderful help in rearing the children. Our demonstration of supply was made through earnestly studying the article entitled "Angels" in "Miscellaneous Writings" (pp. 306, 307). I find Christian Science a wonderful help in overcoming discouragement, impatience, fear, and all wrong thinking, which cause all discordant conditions. It is my earnest desire to gain more of this truth each day.
I am indeed grateful for having had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School and for all the Christian Science literature, in which I find just what I need. I am grateful to God, our Father-Mother, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, to Mary Baker Eddy, who was obedient and pure enough to bring this truth to us, and for the good this wonderful truth is doing for all mankind.— Hammond, Indiana.
