As I eagerly read the testimonies in each number of the Journal and Sentinel, I feel that I must add my own expression of gratitude for Christian Science. To-day I am obeying that call in the way so wisely provided by Mrs. Eddy.
I have been healed physically by Christian Science; in fact, I can scarcely remember having had any other method of treatment, as my mother became interested in Christian Science when I was a child. It has healed me of tonsillitis, severe colds, defective sight, burns, and a serious case of milk leg after the birth of my first son. In the case of a severe accident, I experienced a remarkable healing of wounds. My two little ones have been healed through Christian Science treatment, and always ask for "the truth" when they are ailing.
I have had ample opportunity to prove the truth of Christian Science and its practical worth. In times of sorrow, loneliness, discouragement, loss, and lack, it has met my needs, and I am finding that God is right here, and that He is manifesting Himself to His children in such a way as to meet the human need. At the present time, I am especially grateful for the periodical literature. I am living in a small town where there is no Christian Science church, and the Journal, Sentinel, and Monitor are doubly welcome and precious. My gratitude to Mrs. Eddy constantly increases for making Jesus' teachings clear to us, and for establishing the Christian Science church with all its far-reaching activities.—Paris, Missouri.
