CHRISTMAS PEACE

From the December 1928 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."—Luke 2:14.

The singing of the angels rings down the centuries,
Its volume fast increasing with pulsing harmonies;
It gives to God the glory, and pleads that brotherhood
Be proved by men and nations in demonstrating good.

Oh, listen to the angels! Rise up and homage give
To God, the loving Father; then brotherhood will live!
And peace no more a vision, reality shall be,
And Christmas will come daily and bless eternally!
