It is with a great sense of gratitude that I wish to give my testimony for the blessings I have received in Christian Science. One day I felt great irritation near the right eye. I consulted a doctor, who declared it was a cancer. I changed visibly, and my friends thought that my end was approaching, as the doctor's remedies were not benefiting me in any way. I studied Christian Science a little, but did not understand the divine Principle which heals and did not know how to apply it.
Some years later when I awoke one morning my left side was covered with pimples and I was suffering a great deal. Once more I consulted a physician, who said it was shingles. He gave me some remedies and treatments, but they did not do me any good. Nevertheless I continued to consult different physicians, and the suffering lasted three years.
Then one day I met a lady who is a Christian Science practitioner. I asked her to treat me, which she very lovingly did. To-day the healing is complete, and my great desire now is to know God better. I study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy with pleasure, and not with indifference as formerly. I regularly attend all the services. I can say to-day that I am perfectly healed and that the marks which the cancer had left on my face have disappeared. People who knew me in my distress remark on my perfect health.
