Testimonies of Healing

Through the receptivity of...

From the October 1931 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Through the receptivity of thought to good I have had many healings in Christian Science, of rheumatism, of ulcers of the stomach, and of a great lack of loving-kindness. None of these healings were instantaneous; but with the help of faithful practitioners, to whom I owe much gratitude, and by an honest and persistent study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, I am ever more clearly learning that "the Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate."

Some time ago I had a most excruciating pain in one of my ears, caused by what appeared to be an abscess. I tried to work for myself in Christian Science, but was obsessed by the pain. I telephoned for help. The practitioner responded at once, and almost before I could replace the receiver, something seemed to explode in my head and I was instantaneously healed.

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science.—Miss)
