I should like to express my thanks for the spiritual gifts that have been showered on me through Christian Science, and for its beloved Leader.
I am very grateful for the help this Science has been to me, pointing the right way for me and for my children, eliminating discord and strife in the home, and in its place bringing harmony and employment for us, nearly always "in pleasant places." We have seen the overcoming of many discords, among them blood poisoning, ptomaine poisoning, influenza, and stomach and nervous troubles. We have seen the straightening of an injured back, and the overcoming of the effects of an accident from an exploding gun barrel, when the doctor was sure that the hand would be lost, but not even a finger was lost and only a small scar on the thumb remained. I am also grateful for our literature, for the many encouraging testimonies, and for the practitioners who have always been so patient in showing us the right way and helping us to walk therein.— Houston, Texas.
