For the many proofs of God's love and protecting care, as revealed to me in the teachings of Christian Science, I wish to make grateful acknowledgment.
Christian Science was presented to me by kind friends about fifteen years ago, at a time of great need. While I was eager to learn more about it, perhaps mostly from a desire to be healed physically, I did not receive my healing, and turned again to materia medica. I wandered in this wilderness for about four years, suffering from a so-called nervous breakdown, until I again had to make my decision between man-made laws and God's laws. This time I took my stand firmly for Christian Science, and was healed. Although the healing was slow and the way difficult with much to unlearn, I am earnestly striving each day to gain more of this wonderful truth as taught in the Christian Science textbook.
At this time I was also healed of daily recurring headaches, which developed into a sick headache at least once a week. This healing was soon followed by the laying off of glasses which I had worn for a period of thirteen years. In the ten years since that time I have never felt the need for glasses.
