IN human experience, It is found that whenever men gather together for a worthy purpose they formulate some rules of order for the common good. Even among animals and insects we see evidences of what we term co-operation.
It was revealed to Mary Baker Eddy that God is infinite Mind; that the universe, including man, is Mind's compound idea; and that Christian Science is the law of Mind expressed in a form comprehensible to men. God's law is one of blessing to man and the universe. It is the law of Life, Truth, and Love in contradistinction to the false beliefs of error, hatred, and death.
Moses gave to men the moral aspect of God's law. Jesus revealed God's law in its spiritual meaning; and Christian Science gives the scientific sense of law, which includes the moral and yet is wholly spiritual. A wider and deeper understanding of the law of God has come through this teaching, for now the Master's works are understood as demonstrations of the ever-operative law of divine Mind. Human thought had to be educated up to the understanding of spiritual law through apprehension and demonstration of the truth about God and man. Not until the unity of God and man was scientifically stated could true law be intelligently and scientifically obeyed and used.
