I am most grateful for Christian Science. Since coming into this wonderful religion of love I have been healed of bad head colds that usually began in early fall and lasted until spring, leaving me much depleted. Fallen arches, constipation of long standing, soft and hard corns, ingrowing nails, bad callouses, were all eliminated from my experience by the power of Christian Science. Acute inflammation of the kidneys was healed in three treatments. Also many minor healings occurred through the reading of the religious articles in The Christian Science Monitor. A sprained ankle was healed in five treatments.
Four or five years ago I received what seemed to me to be a most wonderful healing, yet in reality it was divinely natural. For some time, perhaps a year, I had been feeling very uncomfortable under my arms, also throughout my diaphragm and bowels. It was very painful to bend over. This condition was healed after three days' treatment. There has not been a return of this trouble since.
My gratitude for freedom from constant pain does not compare with the great joy of knowing God better and daily communing with Him, with our Father-Mother God, who heals all our diseases. Surely our God is not a God afar off, but at hand, God who is Love, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient. I have been tempted with discouragement and self-condemnation many times, but with sincere prayer for guidance I have always been protected, which shows me clearly that as we unreservedly turn away from the evidence of the material senses to God, good, it will be proved to us that the answer to our problems is already in existence.
