I wish to express my deep appreciation of the many blessings my family and I have received through the study of Christian Science and the reading of the literature.
I should like to tell of a healing our little boy had a few years ago. My husband and I were out one afternoon, and the young lady who worked for us allowed the child to go next door with some friends who had called while we were away. These people were not Christian Scientists and neither was the one in our employ. In fact they were very much opposed to it. While the child was there he caught his fingers in a hay chopper and three of them were cut very badly. But by the aid of a practitioner they were completely healed in about two weeks. We did not look at them because we knew that God's creation is perfect.
My husband has been healed of wearing glasses; a broken bone has been set and healed without human means; a severe case of smallpox has also been wonderfully healed. For these and many other healings I am truly grateful. I also wish to express my gratitude for membership in The Mother Church and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.— Los Angeles, California.
