I should like to express my great gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. Whenever I think of my healings, I thank God with all my heart for His infinite love, by which He blesses all His children.
Some years ago a complete nervous breakdown came upon me, which kept me in bed in a hospital for three months. I was treated by many physicians without experiencing the slightest improvement. Afterwards the doctors decided to send me to another place, for they thought my illness incurable. But a friend told my mother that I could be healed through Christian Science. My mother accepted this good news joyfully and told me about it, and I knew that I should be healed.
We asked a practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. Every day I felt better. It was my desire to understand more of this religion. Especially, as I was able to read again, I wanted to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. By clinging fast to Truth I kept on getting better, so that I was permitted to leave the hospital for three weeks to visit my people. We now understood Truth more and saw how great God's kindness and love are. I read a great deal in the Bible and was much inspired. Once I opened it and read, "I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." This was a beautiful revelation. I got up, and found that I could walk and run as before.
