In the Bible we find this verse "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." When I think of giving a testimony of the healing efficacy of Christian Science, I am reminded of this Bible verse.
I did not come into Christian Science through a physical healing of my own. My mother had been an invalid for about twelve years with what many doctors had told her was an incurable disease of the stomach. She had been living on a very rigid diet when some friends gave us a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. We started to read and after reading for about a week my mother was healed. The truths in this book had changed her thinking so completely that she was lifted out of this belief in disease to the consciousness of health. Since that time, in 1907, we have depended on Christian Science, and have had many beautiful healings in our home.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the revelation of the Christ, Truth, that I give this testimony.
