God has a plan. In Mind it has its place,
Fixed, sure, serene.
We may not see it now, its fullness trace,
But God has seen.
God has a plan. Nor storms, nor threats, nor rout
Can change it aught.
We need not fear that error will win out
Where Truth has fought.
God has a plan. And as our purpose grows
To serve Him best,
We find Him leading on where wisdom flows
And work is rest.
God has a plan. It grows to us more clear
As errors fall
And thoughts are lifted up to find Love near,
Enfolding all.
