ANNOUNCEMENT

From the February 1937 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Christian Science Board of Directors announces that Mr. Charles W. J. Tennant, C. S. B., of London, England, who for the past twenty-two years has served as District Manager of Committees on Publication for Great Britain and Ireland, will retire from that office as of December 31, and will assume new duties as Field Representative of The Mother Church in Great Britain, Ireland, and Europe.

Mr. Tennant has for many years been engaged in the practice of Christian Science, and in 1913 he received instruction in the Board of Education of the Massachusetts Metaphysical College in a Normal Class, since which time he has taught Christian Science, as well as practiced Christian Science healing. He is also a member of the Committee on Christian Science Houses in England and Wales.

Mr. Tennant's new duties will make him available to various parts of the European field, where he will address meetings of Christian Science church members, grant interviews with Christian Science practitioners and others, and generally promote a fuller understanding and appreciation of the various activities of The Mother Church. Those branch churches and societies which desire to avail themselves of Mr. Tennant's services may communicate directly with him in London, England.
