For the wonderful benefits that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science I desire to express my gratitude to God, whom I have proved to be ever-present Love; to Jesus, who gave us the way of life through expressing that Love; and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who by her humble, consecrated work discovered the truth about God and man in His image.
Over thirty years ago I was healed of the fear of tuberculosis following pneumonia. This healing was accomplished by my reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
Many years later the healing of one who seemed beyond human aid caused a member of my family to become interested in Christian Science, and together we took up in earnest the study of this Science. We were not seeking physical healing, but we desired to understand the Principle which had healed this dear one. Through the sense of gratitude which came to us as we studied, we were led into the understanding which has proved so valuable ever since. With this understanding came a joy and peace and confidence which we have applied to physical problems for ourselves and others.
