I am very grateful for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me. We have had many healings in our family, the most outstanding being that of my little son. At the age of two years he fell into a fishpond, and when I reached him, it seemed that he had passed on. I took him in my arms declaring, "God is your Life." I called him by name and stated over and over that "accidents are unknown to God" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 424), and "God is All-in-all." He began to breathe. In the meantime a crowd had gathered. Someone called a physician, who stated that he could not understand what had become of the water that had filled the child's lungs and stomach. I did not allow them to roll him, as is the custom, but held him in my arms, and clung fast to God. I am grateful for this demonstration and for the fact that all the people standing there saw the complete healing.
I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to the practitioner for protective work after the accident. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for the privilege of serving as a Sunday school teacher, an usher, a member of the board, clerk, and Second Reader, and for class instruction.—Troy, Ohio.
