I rejoice in the opportunity for expressing gratitude given by the Christian Science periodicals.
When Christian Science was first presented to me I received it with great joy. For some years I had been longing to know Truth, and had been trying out a varied assortment of forms of religion. It had become clear to me that matter is a fabrication of thought, and this fact was not accepted by the churches whose beliefs I investigated.
I was in a state of doubt and fear when a friend who saw my need told me that she was a Christian Scientist. After hearing and reading even a little about it I was quite convinced that Christian Science was that for which I had been seeking, and within the next few months I experienced a considerable number of healings, for I found that I could apply Christian Science to all problems as they arose. Suddenly I had experienced a revolution in thought and outlook.
