I should like to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science.
Although I have been attending church services and Wednesday evening meetings for a number of years, I have never been called upon to study Christian Science so thoroughly as I have recently. About two years ago an experience occurred which threw me into a state of confusion and later developed into a serious mental condition. A practitioner worked with me and for me, until finally I began to see a ray of light, and could read and understand a little of what I read.
It is wonderful to know that Life is God, and that we are answerable to God alone. Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 249): "Let us feel the divine energy of Spirit, bringing us into newness of life and recognizing no mortal nor material power as able to destroy. Let us rejoice that we are subject to the divine powers that be."
