I should like to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science, for the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatoriums at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and in San Francisco, California, and for the wonderful healings that are taking place at these institutions.
While visiting New York City in 1928 I became very ill and quite helpless from an attack of sciatica. The practitioner who was helping me arranged for me to go to the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium. The first week I had special nurses, both day and night, for I was in constant pain.
The healing progressed rapidly. In two weeks I had no need of a special nurse, and in three weeks I was able to walk with the use of crutches. In five weeks I left the Sanatorium alone. I left one Monday in August, and the following day I left New York City to return to my home in France.
