Because Christian Science has brought me unspeakable good, I want to share my joy and to express my deep gratitude for what the Christ, Truth, has done for me and mine.
I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, but to help my mother, who needed and received a healing. I loved the teaching from the start, and soon saw that although I had been an active member in an orthodox church for many years, I did not know God, or the truth about man, Christ, or Jesus. I needed to be healed of ignorance and achieved this through studying the "platform" of Christian Science, which begins on page 330 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Very early in my study I read "The Life of Mary Baker Eddy" by Sibyl Wilbur, which completely healed me of any suggestion of prejudice I might ever have had about our beloved Leader, and made me appreciate her and her work for mankind. Since that healing, over twenty-eight years ago, healings have come about through our relying solely on Mind as our only medicine.
