Christian Science was brought to my attention when my son was old enough to go to Sunday School, and so I enrolled him. We read in Isaiah (11:6), "A little child shall lead them." I was led in this way to attend a Science church.
One of my earliest healings was that of chilblains. For many years before taking up the study of Christian Science and several years thereafter, I suffered every winter with this trouble. One winter my feet were so swollen that I had to wear a larger pair of shoes. At the close of one year, as the cold weather was coming on. I knew if I was to be freed from this painful difficulty I should have to work as we are taught to do in Science. I studied faithfully, knowing that God is good, Love, and Truth, and that God's perfect child reflects only good. I am happy to say that I did not have chilblains that winter nor have I suffered with them during the thirty years since then.
My family has taken up the study of Christian Science, and we have been healed and helped in many ways. So-called children's diseases, warts, eczema, blood poisoning, boils, sick headaches, and many other difficulties were overcome, some through the help of practitioners and others through our own work and study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
