With gratitude to God I wish to give thanks for the understanding gained through the study of Christian Science. I can sincerely say that this Science is the healing power of Truth to all the peoples of the world who are willing to give it a proper trial.
Christian Science came into my life many years ago. The truth found through the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other writings by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, along with our periodicals, has healed me of many things too numerous to mention here. I wish to relate at this time a healing of cancer and one of a hipbone that was thrown out of the socket.
I was in a mental state of anxiety for a number of years on account of cancer. I could not make myself believe that I could be healed of this. It seemed to me that this was one thing that would not yield. The healing came, however, after much study and after I read a testimony in one of our periodicals of the healing of a case similar to mine. This testimony stated that when the writer became aware that she was in reality purely spiritual, she was healed. This so impressed and convinced me that I thought, "Why, of course, I am purely spiritual also," and I was healed.
