I have depended on Christian Science for over thirty-five years for my every need, and I desire to express my heartfelt gratitude for the spiritual growth and for the many other blessings it has brought me.
Some of the earlier demonstrations of this truth in my experience have been indelibly impressed on my consciousness. The simplicity and completeness of these proofs of God's care removed all doubt that there could be any other power than that of God, good. Our young family were reared in Christian Science from the time they were born, and they were free from the so-called children's diseases. My deep appreciation of the help we received as parents and of the benefit and protection our little ones enjoyed could never be fully expressed.
When our eldest daughter was about eight years of age, she was stricken with what materia medica would probably call mastoiditis. Her mother and I worked for her in Christian Science, keeping in thought the perfect child of God's creation. We studied and read for many hours, and one night the swellings broke. She regained consciousness, and the next day she was again cheerful. She recovered quickly, and the healing was complete and permanent.
