With a grateful heart I wish to relate a wonderful healing, which was brought about in a very short time.
My eyesight suddenly became so dim that I could no longer read and often had to be assisted in my work or when out walking. I went to an oculist and asked him to prescribe glasses for me. He examined my eyes thoroughly, and then said: "I cannot prescribe any glasses for your eyes. You must avoid the sunlight or any bright light and come back in four or five weeks. You have cataracts on both eyes, which can be removed only by an operation."
Although somewhat fearful, I would not allow myself to be really frightened, and I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. He promised to work for me at once and explained something of the truth to me, turning my thoughts in the right direction, so that I was able to return home reassured and with complete faith in God and in Christian Science.
