"God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:...being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God" (II Cor. 9:8, 11). I am very happy to be able to give thanks to God that these passages from the Bible can be proved practical today.
I came into Christian Science for some clearer explanations on spiritual questions rather than for a physical healing. I was a junior in a teachers' college when I realized that someone, somewhere, must be wrong. How could all the theories of physical science which we were being taught possibly be true when they contradicted so emphatically all my former orthodox training?
After sincerely asking God for guidance in this confused state, I was led to write to an aunt of mine, who is a Christian Science practitioner. I still remember her answer. She said that to learn about anything one has to read and study it; so to learn about God and His spiritual idea, man, one needs to do some searching and seeking.
