On page 574 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read, "The very circumstance, which your suffering sense deems wrathful and afflictive, Love can make an angel entertained unawares." The truth of this statement has been emphatically proved to me, and I should like to share my blessings.
My family began the study of Christian Science when I was five years of age, and I am grateful that I learned so early in life that this Science offers the solution to every problem. However, it was not until after I was married that I went through a trial which demanded that I learn more of God and man as His perfect expression.
Following the birth of our son, a condition of infection affected my whole system. I was taken to another city, where my family could care for me, because it was impossible for me to do anything for myself. A practitioner was called, but the condition did not yield to her diligent and loving work. Material aid was suggested, but I was not tempted to accept, as I knew that God is the only physician. We were, however, divinely guided to seek the help of another practitioner.
