Christian Science was presented to me over thirty years ago, and it has been my only physician since that time.
During my boyhood I attended various Protestant Sunday Schools and churches, but did not find that for which I was seeking. Then later, when Christian Science was presented to me by my mother, I accepted it willingly. My interest for several years was not a very active one, but I depended upon this Science exclusively for the healing of many difficulties.
In 1931, I was asked to resign from a position to which I had advanced over a number of years. Although this seemed to be a setback at first, it proved to be a beautiful turning point in my life. It was at this time that I made application and was accepted for membership in The Mother Church.
