Members from many parts of the world were present for the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church which convened on Monday afternoon, June 2. Renewed consecration to the Cause which our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, established characterized the entire meeting. The following is a detailed account of the proceedings and the reports of our Church officers.
The opening hymn was No. 30 in the Christian Science Hymnal, "Brood o'er us with Thy shelt'ring wing," the words of which were written by Mary Baker Eddy. After the singing of this hymn, the retiring President, Mrs. Lora C. Rathvon, read passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader:
