It is with sincere gratitude that I record my testimony regarding many healings received in Christian Science. Since 1919 God has been my only physician. I have proved that with a right understanding of God one is capable of solving any problem that may arise.
Christian Science first came to me at a time when I was greatly in need of physical and mental help. Because of stomach trouble and a severe nervous condition I was not able to work for many weeks. Finally, at the point of extremity, after doctors and medicine had failed to aid me, a friend stopped me on the street and asked me if I would consider trying Christian Science. He offered to lend me a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and recommended that I read this book carefully and also immediately employ the services of a Christian Science practitioner.
I gratefully accepted this counsel, but at that time I very much doubted that it would solve my problem. The next day a practitioner was engaged, and Christian Science treatment was given daily. Improvement was slow but steady, and at the end of three weeks I was well enough to return to my work.
