"I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten" (Joel 2:25). These words best express what Christian Science has done for me. This religion came to me when I was mentally and physically ill. As a last resort I decided to read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Although I understood very little of what I read, my dismal outlook took on a glorious hue, and my health was regained. A dear friend made it possible for me to return to school. A year later I found employment. Within a few weeks I received an increase in salary, and within a year I had a much better position. Progress along that line has been steady, thanks to the guiding hand of our Father-Mother God.
Through Christian Science treatment alone I have been healed of kidney disease, the effects of two automobile accidents, an undiagnosed painful condition at the base of the spine, and an infected jawbone. Discordant human relationships, poverty, and many other inharmonious conditions were also overcome.
