"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them ! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand" (Ps.139: 17,18). For this precious sense of God's nearness and dearness to me and mine and all, I owe endless thanks to Mary Baker Eddy, the God-appointed messenger of Truth to this age.
I began the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, about eight years ago. In these few years I have experienced the unutterable joy of finding a new life, physically, economically, mentally, morally, and spiritually. Lifelong traits of character, such as jealousy, revenge, selfishness, anger, fearfulness, have disappeared as I have realized that goodness is the law of Life, immutable, impartial, and final.
Absolute faith in every word that came from the pen of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and my desire to be obedient to her teachings healed me of extreme indigestion, chronic constipation, hemorrhoids, lifelong catarrh, migraine headaches, and periodic ailments.
