When he escaped the chains and iron bands,
The manacles fell freely from his hands.
This wise disciple trusted God so much,
The outer gate did not require his touch,
But silent,
Opened of its own accord.
If we ourselves will surely trust the Lord,
Whatever fetters us will disappear.
Although we struggle, yet we must not fear.
All evil is a lie, is nothingness.
We fix our gaze on Truth till wrong grows less,
And we become aware there is no evil claim,
For God is everywhere.
