Many healings have come to me and my family as a result of our putting into practice the teachings of Christian Science. Our gratitude for these healings is deeper than can be expressed in words. We endeavor to express that gratitude by giving of our time, thought, and prayers to help further the Cause of Christian Science so that others may be blessed even as we have been. Many times I have proved that God is "a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1) and that it is God "who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:3).
My first healing was that of chronic antrum trouble. This healing occurred about twenty-three years ago, has been permanent, and was brought about through a few hours' prayerful reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
By the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner, my daughter was healed within half an hour of a severe bronchial attack, from which she had been suffering for almost a week.
