Testimonies of Healing

From the October 1965 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Glory be to God, and peace to the struggling hearts!" These words which appear on page 45 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy express exactly my motive for writing this testimony. To those "struggling hearts," may this account be a reassurance of God's power to heal and to deliver from the fear of heart trouble.

Christian Science has been my only physician and help since I was a child of eight. Many proofs of the harmony of being have been brought out in our home and family experiences as I have realized my own need for purification of thought. After yielding for a time to worldly temptations, I made an about-face early in my marriage and turned with all my heart to God. Mother Church and branch church memberships, with their satisfying activities, supplanted a social life which my own family had unsuccessfully attempted to combine with Christian Science.

The good resulting from my radical turn has blessed many beyond measure. Our every need has been bountifully met as we have worked with pure motives for right ideas rather than things.
