Teach me, Father, how to turn
thought away from self today.
Those who listen spread Love's Word,
surely witness sin cast out,
lepers cleansed, the dead raised up,
drink alike their Master's cup.
Thank You, Father, for making pure
peace of Mind still storms within.
So the way, unfolding, grows
fair as May's first greening leaf.
Through a clearing now I see
light where darkness seemed to be.
Winged, my heart begins to sing
Spirit's song: eternal spring.
