How grateful I am to have been raised in a Christian Science family and to have learned at an early age to trust God with each detail of my life! Christian Science has doubled in meaning for me since my marriage and the birth of our three children.
My husband is an Air Force officer, and with each new assignment we have always been able to establish a complete sense of home.
In 1964, my husband was sent to the Philippines, leaving me in Japan with our two children. Several months later we were able to join him. We had been in the Philippines three weeks when my husband's squadron, on several hours notice, was sent to Vietnam. We felt strange in this new area. Other wives in the same situation were anxious and despondent, becoming more so when one of the squadron's airplanes crashed.
