Divine Principle Is Man's Employer

From the October 1968 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A happy and rewarding vocation is the natural desire of every person. But many feel disillusioned because purposeful and satisfying employment seems to elude them. Some may regard their occupation as uncongenial routine, lacking opportunities for progress. Others may be laboring under a sense of injustice or feel that their work is not appreciated. Perhaps one's hopes for a successful career may appear to be thwarted by the prejudice of someone in higher authority.

To every human situation, however difficult it may seem, Christian Science brings a message of renewed hope and promise. By revealing the absolute allness of God, divine Principle, Love, and man as Love's reflection, this Science enables us to rise above the claims of personal sense, or mortal mind, and progressively demonstrate the all-harmonious, omniactive Mind, God.

Through Science we learn that the only true activity is the eternal unfoldment of good, infinite Love. And man, as God's perfect expression, is always joyously and successfully occupied in evidencing this spiritual unfoldment. Christian Science shows that in the ratio we understand and demonstrate these truths, identifying ourselves with the divine law of harmonious activity under the government of Principle, our outward situation is improved.
