The greatest blessing I have ever experienced was the coming into my life of Christian Science. It brought far-reaching changes of character, with resultant healing of severe bodily ills.
I had always believed myself to be healthy and considered I had a right to physical health. But there came a time when I was progressively ill, weak, and in great pain. Reluctantly I consulted a doctor, who told me I was suffering from anemia and arthritis. He said there was little hope of any permanent improvement because there was no cure for either.
I spent several years trying to have faith in the medical treatments I was undergoing, but I grew weaker, and there was much deformity. Finally I was told no more could be done for me.
