Deep, confident, scientific acknowledgment

Praying for Your World

From the March 1976 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How do we deal with, or heal, fears and apprehensions that may seem present in our thought? Christian Science teaches that there is only one Mind, one consciousness, and that is God, infinite good. His thoughts alone are real.

With this truth as our starting base we can better recognize the scientific fact (although it may be reluctantly admitted) that evil is not thought. Erroneous thought does not, in reality, belong to man, even though it may appear to. It is aggressive suggestion calling itself "my thought." Because God is man's Mind, what man sees, hears, and knows is always entirely good because good is the nature of God. The only thoughts that belong to man, God's expression of Himself, are the thoughts, or ideas, that spring from Mind, the source of all true knowledge.

Picture what a world this would be if each of us was willing to mentally replace suggestions of evil's presence and activity with the truth of what actually is present!
