Christ Jesus said (John 8:12), "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." I would like to tell how this promise came true in my experience.
My mother was healed through Christian Science at the urging of our family doctor, who kindly told her that neither he nor the medical society could do any more for her. She had been confined to bed for almost a year. A Christian Science practitioner was then called to our home, and after several treatments Mother was up and caring for her home and family again. She has enjoyed good health these past thirty-five years.
I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School soon after Mother's healing and attended faithfully until I married and moved away. I then lost contact with Christian Science. However, just before our second child was to be born, we returned to our former city and lived near a Church of Christ, Scientist, and I began attending services again.
