SUNDAY SCHOOL: How do we learn to teach?

From the November 1980 issue of The Christian Science Journal

(First in a series by the Sunday School Division of The Mother Church.)

In learning how to become spiritual healers, Christian Scientists naturally trust Mary Baker Eddy's clear instruction. Through prayer and study they go beyond human systems of treatment to the Science of healing illustrated in the Bible.

If we trust our Leader to teach us how to heal, we can also trust her writings and the Bible to teach us how to teach Sunday School. No complex skills of the human mind are required. Spirituality and daily demonstration of the Science of healing, together with a deep love of children, are what we need.
