OF NOTE THIS MONTH

From the November 1986 issue of The Christian Science Journal

There's an implicit bond of trust between the readers of The Christian Science Monitor and all the people who make that newspaper possible. Advertisers are an important part of the team that brings this newspaper into our homes and offices. Let's take a look at why the Monitor carries advertising, how we sell that advertising, and what you might want to consider about your role.

In naming the periodicals, Mrs. Eddy said: "... the next I named Monitor, to spread undivided the Science that operates unspent. The object of the Monitor is to injure no man, but to bless all mankind." The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353.
