When a flame grows, up it goes,
rising higher, giving light.
So do we, hearts aflame (our gratitude made plain)
rise to share.
No fear here!
Now, grateful one,
you can rise
to speak.
We meet for praise.
So raise thought,
self,
voice.
Make your thankful choice.
Fear cannot keep you in that seat
as you hear the Christ in you repeat,
"Arise."
Set aside resigning sighs
and give us all a treat:
you, right here with God and us,
standing on your feet!
And as your gratitude flows out, more of Love pours in.
