Letters & Conversations

Letters

From the August 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Via E-mail

You have combined two of my favorite things—the Journal and E-mail. I just am so grateful for the Journal, and especially for the articles that tell about the outreach of the Church.

This started for me with the September 1995 article, "'Every Christian church'—healing the sick in Christ's name." Then came the talk given by Virginia S. Harris on Christian Science healing practices at the conference in Boston on "Spirituality & Healing in Medicine," which was published in the February issue of the Journal. In March, the healing mission, purpose, focus, and priorities of the Church of Christ, Scientist, were clearly set out. And then, in April, we read a comprehensive discussion of the Boston conference on spirituality and healing.
